SLPRB of Assam Police has published a job advertisement for the recruitment of 2450 Constable (AB)/ Nursing vacancy for newly created Assam Commando Battalions.

Assam Commando Battalion Recruitment 2021-2022 Details:

Name of Post: Constable (AB)
No of Posts: 2450 posts

Category-wise vacancy:

Constable (AB) Male & Transgender — 2220 posts
Constable (AB) Female — 180 posts
Constable (AB) Nursing — 50 posts

Pay Scale: Rs.14,000-60,500/-with Grade Pay of Rs.5,600/- and other allowances as admissible under the rules.

Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens, permanent resident of Assam.

Age Limit: Candidates age must be between 18 to 21 years as on 01-01-2021 (i.e. the candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2003 and on or after 01.01.2000).

Age Relaxation: Category-wise upper age limit relaxation is as mentioned below

SC/ST(H)/ST(P): 5 (five) years
OBC/ MOBC: 3 (three) years
National and International sports person: 3 (three) years

Educational Qualification:

HSLC or Equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council.
In addition for the posts of Constable (Nursing), Nursing Diploma is necessary.

Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates must register his/ her name with a local Employment Exchange in Assam.

Local Language Proficiency: Candidates must speak Assamese or any other state language fluently.
