Mission Bhumiputra Assam - SC, ST, OBC Caste Certificate:
Mission Bhumiputra or Mission Bhoomiputra is an online application portal for Assam SC, ST, and OBC
Caste Certificates. Mission Bhumiputra was launched by Govt of Assam on 1st August 2022 under
the Department of Welfare of Plain Tribes and Backward Classes. Under this
mission, applicants will be able to submit their applications for caste
certificates through the Mission Bhumiputra official website (bhumiputra.assam.gov.in). Mission Bhumiputra is
a great initiative taken by Dr.
Himanta Biswa Sarma to provide caste certificates by issuing a
completely digital process.

Nationality: Applicants
must be an Indian citizens.
Domicile: Applicant must
be a permanent resident of Assam.
Caste: Applicants must belong to
SC, ST or OBC/ MOBC.

Major Components:
(i) Single application
form for all castes to ensure a uniform & simplified procedure for issuing
caste certificates.
(ii) Caste certificates
to be issued digitally and stored in Digi locker -
If the
father's caste certificate is enclosed & found genuine, the certificate
will be issued instantly
However, if
any enquiry is required, it must be completed within 30 days and extendable by
another 15 days in exceptional cases with due justification.

Bhumiputra Caste Certificate Portal:
Applicants who
come under the above-mentioned caste and are willing to issue their caste
certificate must visit the official web portal of Mission Bhumiputra to submit
the application. Applicants can follow the below-mentioned steps to complete
their caste certificate application process.

- Click on Mission Bhumiputra Apply Link.
- Now you have to Register by clicking on the New Account option.
- After successful registration, Login using your Username and Password.
- After successful login, you will have to click on New Application option.
- Fill up the application form with all information carefully.
- After that, you have to upload your required scanned documents.
- Finally, you will get the option to submit your application.
