Eligibility
Criteria of Prison Department Recruitment
Citizenship: Candidate must be Indian
Citizen and permanent resident of Assam.
Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates must register his/ her name with a local
Employment Exchange in Assam.
Local Language Proficiency: Candidates must speak Assamese or any other State language
fluently.
Application Fee: There is no application fee for
this recruitment.
Age Limit: The age of the candidate
should be between 21 to 40 years as on 1st July 2022.
Age Relaxation: The category wise upper age
relaxation is as follows.
SC/ ST: 5 years
OBC/ MOBC: 3 years
Ex-Servicemen: 2 years
Educational Qualification: The candidate must be a
graduate in Arts, Science, Commerce or equivalent stream from a recognized
College/Institution affiliated with a recognized University.
