The Directorate of Medical Education (DME) Assam has invited applications from eligible and intending candidates to recruit 20 Professor and Reader Post on a contractual basis for 1 year or till the posts are filled up by regular incumbents in Govt. Dental Colleges, Assam under the Medical Education & Research Department, Government of Assam.

1. Professor

Discipline wise vacancies:

Conservative Dentistry and Endodontic: 1

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery: 2

Prosthodontics and crown and bridge: 1

Orthodontics: 1

Pediatrics and Preventive Dentistry: 1

Oral Pathology and Microbiology: 2

Public health Dentistry: 1

Periodontics: 1

Remuneration: Rs. 1,40,000/-per month

Educational Qualification: A recognized BDS Degree from an Indian University/ or an equivalent qualification with a graduate Degree / Diplomat of the National Board in the relevant subject with a minimum of 05 years experience as a reader in the concerned department.

Educational Qualification: A recognized BDS Degree from an Indian University/ or an equivalent qualification with a graduate Degree / Diplomat of National Board in the relevant subject with a minimum of 04 years of teaching experience after a graduate degree.
